Collectables faces critical obstruction in fatal accident

An RCMP officer involved in an accident that killed a motorcyclist in the Delta of the BC, almost three years ago has been ordered to stand trial on a charge of attempting to obstruct justice.

Corporal Benjamin Montgomery Robinson was initially under investigation for driving in the crash of 2008 between his Jeep and a motorcycle driven by 21 years Orion Hutchinson.

Robinson, who was out of service at the time of the accident, claimed that he came home and had two shots of vodka before returning to the scene, where he is not a breathalyzer test.

However, a judge of the provincial court of Surrey held that Robinson should be tried on a charge of obstruction lone, radio CKNW in Vancouver said Wednesday.
